It is far and away the most popular trek in Pakistan, attracting large number of trekking groups as well as numerous mountaineering expeditions en-route to the peaks around Concordia. In this route you may see a large number of mountains and it en-route to the K-2 8611m, the second highest peak in the world. The four peaks out of fourteen above 8000m and eight of thirteen highest peaks of the world are located around this trek. This route follows manly on the Baltoro Glacier. This climax of the Baltoro Glacier is the beautiful conjunction of the Godwin Austin Glacier, which descends from K-2 and Baltoro Glacier called “CONCORDIA 4700m” lying in the heart of the most heavily glaciered region out side the Polar area and dankest concentration of peaks on earth.

CONCORDIA is the apex of this trek and viewpoint of several peaks. If you would like to go to the base camp of mount K-2, it is recommended to make the excursions from Concordia. The K-2 is more visible from here just like mount Everest from Kala Patar
